Program Information
IMTB Program is an innovative initiative to that will teach students work-readiness skills and the fundamentals of mobile telecommunications business. The project also helps students to explore career opportunities in the mobile telecommunications industry through extensive internship and international visit program.
Who is Eligible?
Students (age 17-22) with technical educational background
from accredited local and international college

About Junior Achievement Azerbaijan
Junior Achievement Azerbaijan (JAA) is the local representative of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, the world's largest not-for-profit organization in business education. Junior Achievement mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Since its founding in 1919, JA has contributed to the business and economics education of young people throughout the world. JA now operates through local representatives in 100 countries worldwide. In Azerbaijan Junior Achievement started in 2000 and since then JA Azerbaijan trained thousands of students and more than 300 teachers from schools in 26 regions through the funding from the public and private donors.
Program Stages:
Step 1 – Student Recruitment – JAA recruits and selects students to participate in the program.
Step 2 – Work-Readiness Training – JAA conducts work-readiness and self- assessment skills training to the participants.
Step 3 – Introduction to Mobile Telecommunications Business – The students participate in the essentials of mobile
telecommunications business training by Bakcell and JAA. As a result of the training the students present the training products.
Step 4 – Job Shadow Program – Bakcell provides selected students the opportunity to learn mobile telecommunications industry through on-site work experience program.
Step 5 – International Trade Fair – Selected students travel to Lisbon, Portugal to participate in the International Trade Fair.
