On October 16, 2005, JAA held a competition to test business skills of students for Student Company Program in Zangi Lyceum. 82 students from 31 teams representing 27 schools of Baku and Sumqayit (BMLK, schools # 95, 96, 234, 158, 15 etc.) took part in the testing. 10 teams with scores ranging 155-170 (maximum 200) gained privilege to participate in the next stages of Student Company Program...
As a new step JAA plans to include 50 new schools into the project from the following regions this year. Organization's representatives interviewed teachers from schools in the above-mentioned regions and invited them to summer economics training. On June 17, 2005, JAA organized a ceremony on the occasion of successful participation of Azerbaijani teams in Hewlett Packard Global Business Challenge (HPGBC) international competition in Hyatt Regency Hotel. For five years JAA has been sponsoring teams from Azerbaijan schools to compete in the HPGBC International Competition. Each year JAA organizes a country-wide challenge to prepare for the international competition in which teams from regions around Azerbaijan (Baku, Absheron, Sumqayit, Lankaran and Ismayilli) compete in the “National Applied Economics Competition"...
