.jpg) In May, in collaboration with McDermott Caspian Contractors, ExxonMobil, KCA Deutag, and Baker & McKenzie, JAA organized HR classes at four schools engaged in the implementation of the JA Success Skills program. Designed for the high school level, the project meets the needs of a diverse group of students by providing engaging, academically enriching, and experiential learning sessions in work-readiness and career perspectives. The final session consisted of the in-class activity with the HR specialist, during which the students learned the most important issues to consider when applying for a job. The participants also received the first-hand information about job interview in business companies and career opportunities in Azerbaijan’s business sector. Upon the program completion, the students submit their CVs, cover letters, and personal action plans for internship opportunities facilitated by JAA and its partners companies.- News Archive 2010

Junior Achievement provides teachers, and schools with concrete programmes, and allows students to learn how to put theory into practice and to understand what entrepreneurship is about. In this way students gain self-confidence and motivation, become proactive and learn how to work in a team. This is an important investment in Europe's future.
