Program Name: School Economics Education Program (SEE)

Duration: 2010-2013

Program Goals:

·          Prepare 1,017 students from secondary schools and colleges for their careers through work-readiness training, competitions and on-site experience;

·          Teach 180 students from secondary schools and colleges the fundamentals of personal finance and the banking industry through financial literacy training and interactive contest;

·          Teach 225 students from secondary schools entrepreneurship by organizing and operating actual business enterprises;

·          Support 10,490 secondary school students to learn applied economics through consultations and educator training;

·          Foster ethical decision-making in 900 secondary school and undergraduate students through business ethics training and responsible business competition;

·          Conduct surveys and evaluations among 2,605 students and educators on ethics, employability, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, business education, and the SEE program results.

Program Name: Introduction to Mobile Telecommunications Business (IMTB)

Duration: 2010-2012

Program Goals:

·          Recruit 90 students from four universities to participate in the program;

·          Conduct Business Ethics training program for 90 students in total;

·          Train 90 students on work-readiness;

·          Conduct industry-related Intro to Mobile Telecommunications Business for 90 students by professional trainers from Bakcell, Alcatel-Lucent University Turkey, Alcatel-Lucent Azerbaijan, and Junior Achievement Azerbaijan;

·          Provide work experience opportunities for 30 students through the Job Shadow program at Bakcell and Alcatel-Lucent;

·          Introduce the Student Internship Program at Bakcell and provide the extensive work-experience opportunity for selected 5 students.

Program Name: Sustainable Enterprise Development Program (SEDP)

Donor: PASHA Bank OJSC

Program Goals:

·         Promote SME development through the creation of youth-led enterprises by providing entrepreneurship and business training to young women and men of Baku and Guba;

·         Provide access to financial services for youth-led enterprises by partnering with banks and micro-finance institutionsl;

·        Foster an enabling environment for SMEs by presenting the successes and challenges of youth-led enterprises to business community;
